Student success is the benchmark of educational quality. Since its founding in 1996, HighScope Indonesia, with the full support of the Research & Development for Advancement (Redea) Institute, has consistently equipped students with the real-world skills needed for the workplace: critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and self-confidence.

The success of HighScope Indonesia students who have continued their education at various prestigious universities, both domestically and abroad, shows how the curriculum developed by the Redea Institute can address the global achievement gap—the gap that leaves many formal education graduates unprepared to face the demands of university and the working world.

The stories of HighScope Indonesia alumni prove that a holistic educational approach relevant to the real world can close this gap. For Shakira Ashana Ramadhani Aziz, a 2020 HighScope graduate now studying at Universitas Indonesia and the University of Queensland, the experience of giving presentations since elementary school was a valuable asset.

"We got used to presenting projects in public since elementary school, so being confident in speaking became a habit. In college, this skill made presentations feel easy, and I often give advice to friends on how to present their projects," she said.

Meanwhile, Muhammad Ridho, a 2019 graduate who studied at ITB and now works as a Field Engineer at an oil and gas company, highlighted the Virtual Enterprise (VE) class at HighScope Indonesia.

"That class taught me how the working world operates. From that experience, I learned a lot. So when I graduated from high school, I wasn't surprised by the situation in the real world, and that has really helped me become who I am today," he said.

With over 4,000 students at 15 locations and more than 1,000 alumni accepted at 351 universities in 21 countries, HighScope Indonesia continues to strengthen its tradition of shaping students' mindsets, character, and life skills.

To strengthen these achievements, HighScope Indonesia has partnered with the Center for Excellence at New Technology High School in Napa—a leading school in the New Tech Networks in California, USA. This collaboration reinforces the implementation of an American-based curriculum with a focus on real-world learning.

In addition, the Redea Institute also collaborates with PEN Worldwide, a non-profit organization from Germany that equips students with practical entrepreneurship methodology. This support provides HighScope Indonesia students with opportunities to gain direct business experience and prepare them to be future job creators.

"I am very enthusiastic about these new partnerships. At the Redea Institute, we will always manage HighScope Indonesia and ensure that every decision made is in the best interest of the children," said Antarina S.F. Amir, Founder & CEO of the Redea Institute & HighScope Indonesia Institute.
